According to RTrack’s MAU analysis for Roblox in December 2020, approximately 191 Million users were active on the platform in the 30 days preceding December 31st.
As is common for Roblox, the festive season is one of the most lucrative times of the year for developers. This corresponds with more users visiting the platform and playing games during December.
Shown below in the interactive graph are RTrack’s MAU estimates going back to December 2019. Unfortunately MAU estimates were paused for 3 months between September and November 2020, so these months are not included.
A daily active user estimate was also produced, ranging between 30-38M unique users on a daily basis.
Methodology
RTrack uses random user sampling to estimate MAU every month. 80,000 random user accounts are sampled.

This should only be used as an indication of the general trend of MAU, not as an exact figure, and there is always a risk that this estimate is inaccurate. The only definite values of Roblox monthly active user counts are released by Roblox, on the Roblox blog.
